Euro Alliance Engineering participated in the Geo PROJECTS 2011 conference

18.10.2011 Euro Alliance Engineering participated in the Geo PROJECTS 2011 conference, which was held from 12 to 14th of October in Sofia.
In the presence of the president of the International Tunnel Association In Mo Lee, the Bulgarian minister of transport Ivaylo Moskovski and the chief architect of Sofia city was celebrated the opening of the First International Conference in Geotechnical and Tunnel Construction.
Geo PROJECTS 2011 gathered over 150 specialists in the area of the underground construction.
The event offered to the participants the unique opportunity to share their experience and established practices with prominent professionals in the sector. Leading experts consulted the visitors in raising their work standards.
The Conference focused on two themes - geotechnical and tunnel construction, as reflected in the Preliminary Program.
The participants had the unique opportunity to share their experience with internationally known experts like Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Conrad Boley, University of the Bundeswehr in Munich, Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. Hans Georg Jodl Vienna University of Technology and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Walter Wittke - Managing Director WBI, Aachen, Germany, as well as with Prof. Dr. Bozhidar Bozhinov, Dr. Eng. Stoyan Bratoev, Executive Director of Metropolitan Inc., Eng.Arch. Valentin Trashliev, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Victor Tashev.
On the conference were held presentations by representatives of: Atlas Copco Bulgaria, BASF, Thyssen Krup GfT Bautechnik, Sandvik Bulgaria, Hochtief Bulgaria, Systemair, Hidromat Ltd., Euro Alliance Engineering, Metropolitan and many more.
GEO PROJECTS 2011 is the most significant event in Bulgaria in the field of underground construction and an excellent opportunity for meetings and discussions with representatives of the international scientific community, the business and the government.
